An eventful season for the New York Jets has taken its weirdest turn yet.
On Tuesday, Deadspin posted a series of foot fetish videos (Link Slightly Not Safe for Work)produced by a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Michelle Ryan, who has been married to New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan for 23 years.
The vids– titled “Awesome Soles,” “Great Feet Out of Shoes,” and “Hot Mature Sexy Feet” — first appeared on YouTube under the handle “IHavePrettyFeet.” In one of the bizarre videos, the man on the opposite side of the camera talks to the woman about how lovely her feet are and how much he’d like to touch and smell them. And boy does that man’s voice sound a helluva lot like Rex’s.
“You have really beautiful feet,” the unseen cameraman tells the woman.
“Thank you. You know most men do think my feet are pretty because … well, they’re soft and they’re petite and, of course, they are very beautiful,” the Michelle doppleganger responds.
The cameraman then asks: “You mind if I touch them. Can I smell them?”
“I bet most men like to do a lot of things with those feet,” the man adds.

Those pesky Deadspin dishers also unearthed profiles from foot fetish dating and swinger sites that have details similar to those of Rex and Michelle Ryan. For instance, lke the petite Michelle, the 47-year-old woman in the videos is a housewife with a master’s degree and a Virgo who once lived in Ellicott City, Maryland. That’s the same suburban Baltimore city The Ryans lived in before they moved to New York.
Ryan joked about his “supermodel” wife during a news conference earlier in the football season while showing a magazine spread of Michelle modeling NFL clothes geared toward women. Of course, the coach is being a bit more tight-lipped on this simmering sex scandal.
“This is a personal matter and Rex will have no comment,” a publicist for the team said Wednesday.
As odd as this foot fetish stuff may be to some of us (And by some of us, I mostly meanme…), it’s a bit unfair to expose this essentially harmless aspect of The Ryans’ private life for all to heckle. Geez, we’re embarrassed for them.
