Dallas police records say the prostitution ring began in March of 2011, and operated out of the Kit Lane home.

Documents say undercover officers set up dates online and were directed to the house where they set up a “pole” camera. Neighbors watched as FBI and Homeland Security agents, along with Dallas and Plano police officers, raided the home, removing computers and other items.

“Being able to work with your dad or your parents is a pretty cool thing to do at a young age,” he says. “It’s something she will be able to have for the rest of her life.”

Detectives are still looking for the driver of the car who ran over the 61-year-old.
Police say initial reports were that the car was white. Others said it was black or a type of sports car, Cotner said, so a complete description of the vehicle at this point is unavailable.

Morris was assaulted shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Police believe he was approached by a group of as many as eight juveniles, ages 10 through 14. At least a few in the group intended to rob Morris, police said. He was knocked into the street near the 2900 block of Cummings Street and run over by someone driving a white vehicle.

The driver failed to stop and render aid, police said. Morris was taken to Baylor University Medical Center where he died.

“It’s just senseless,” Cotner said at a press conference Thursday morning. “You think about the planning by the juveniles prior to this offense.”Cotner said reports from witnesses suggest that Morris was assisted by people in the area.

Police are searching for those people as well to gather more information and “close out the case.”
